Since RaidMobMarker v2.4 you can mark targets in 3 different ways.

Via the symbol bar
Via macro
Via the HUD

Marking via symbol bar

1. Target the mob or player

2. Left-click on the symbol

Tipp: Mouse-overing a symbol in the bar shows assigned player and description.

Marking via macro

You can bind macros to your keyboard to quickly set frequently used symbols.

For example:

/target mouseover
/rmm mark #
/targetlasttarget

# is the number of the symbol:
1: - 2: - 3: - 4: - 5: - 6: - 7: - 8:

This macros targets the mouseovered unit and marks it with the symbol.

Marking via the HUD

To mark via the HUD you need RaidMobMarker HUD to be enabled in your AddOns menu.

In the ingame keybinding menu you will find an entry called RaidMobMarker HUD, where you have to bind a button to it.

To mark a target with a raid symbol,

target the unit, hold down the assigned button

or

hold down the assigned button and target a unit.

Left-click a symbol and your current target will be marked with it.

To unmark the current target simply right-click on a symbol.

While holding down the button, the HUD will re-show when you change your target.

show up HUD via macro:

You can also show up the HUD via a macro command, e.g. to mark a mouseovered unit.

Therefor use the following macro:

/target mouseover
/rmmhud

Left-click a symbol and your current target will be marked with it.

To unmark the current target simply right-click on a symbol.
